QUICKEN IS NOW RANSOME WARE! To use your data, you must pay them! NOT SO FAST! Quicken will only export data in a proprietary format which cannot be read by any competitor. Unfair pain but I'll export my financial information into another software. Quicken is now a SAS which requires a subscription every year so instead of buying a new version every few years you now must pay about the same amount every year to use their service. Their answer was that: we no longer support that software. I recently called the new owners of Quicken to ask for assistance in installing 2016 Quicken on a new computer. Unfortunately, there was a hidden agenda and ulterior motives in requiring registration. There was no need with the services that are available from financial organization and free web sites. I did register but I never used Intuit for any services. That was when Quicken began requiring registering with Intuit to use the software that I had purchased.
